Valentina O’Regan founded Valorum Law Group in 2019, bringing over 18 years of experience in commercial and construction law. With a proven track record in senior roles at leading global law firms, ASX-listed companies, and public and government organisations, she provides clients with strategic, results-driven advice tailored to achieve
the best possible outcomes.
Valentina has represented a broad spectrum of clients in the commercial and construction sectors, including private financial and freight companies, contractors, owners corporations, high-net-worth owners, and private developers.
Notable clients include Aland, ADCO Constructions, Patrick Stevedores, Boral, Laing O’Rourke, Mega-Top Cargo, Leonite Capital, Northwest Rapid Transit System SJV, Signal Energy Australia, and both the University of Technology Sydney and the University of Sydney.
Her expertise encompasses managing complex litigation, as well as drafting, negotiating, and overseeing commercial and construction contracts valued up to $10 billion.
A respected public speaker, Valentina has delivered presentations on construction and commercial law to the Law Societies of New South Wales and Newcastle, as well as to her clients. She has also lectured at the University of Technology Sydney, sharing her knowledge on building and construction law.
FINANCE DIRECTOR | LAW GRADUATE
Paul is a highly experienced and strategic finance professional with over 20 years’ experience. Paul holds a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction (First Class Honours equivalent), a Bachelor of Business Studies and a CTA.
At Valorum Law Group, Paul works as finance director and a law graduate, assisting with complex commercial litigation across jurisdictions including the NSW Court of Appeal, NSW Supreme Court, NSW District Court, NSW Local Court, NCAT, QLD Supreme Court and QLD District Court, and providing financial and legal advice.
A strategic thinker who always strives to develop creative solutions to problems for clients and stakeholders, Paul delivers solutions with his strong analytical skills and client relationship management. He is results driven, collaborative and adaptive.
Paul has served in many leadership roles across capital projects, business operations and project management, including as Company Secretary for Rugby Australia House Pty Ltd (a JV between Rugby Australia and UTS). He has managed the procurement and negotiation of commercial contracts to deliver on key financial and sustainability strategies including a solar farm PPA and a district chilling solution.
PARALEGAL
Harry joined Valorum Law Group as a paralegal in February 2023. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Economics/Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney on the University of Sydney Chancellor’s Award. He is currently completing the third year of his degree and has received the University of Sydney Academic Merit Prize. At Valorum Law Group, he has assisted in complex litigation across jurisdictions, including the NSW Court of Appeal, NSW Supreme Court, NSW District Court, NSW Local Court, NCAT and the Federal Court of Australia. Prior to commencing with Valorum Law Group, Harry has gained extensive experience in administration, including at the national head office of a national insurance services firm.
PARALEGAL
Evangeline joined Valorum Law Group as a paralegal in January 2025. She is studying a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance)/Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney on the University of Sydney Dalyell Scholarship.
She is currently completing the second year of her degree and has been awarded Beta Gamma Sigma membership for performing in the top 10% of her cohort.
At Valorum Law Group, she has assisted in complex litigation across jurisdictions, including the NSW Court of Appeal, NSW Supreme Court, NSW District Court, NSW Local Court, and NCAT.
Outside of her professional work at Valorum Law Group and academic pursuits, Evangeline enjoys spending her time reading and learning new music, having achieved her Associate Diploma of Music (AMusA) for Piano, and also actively participates in philanthropic work through her involvement in the Australian Health Humanitarian Aid (AHHA).
